Our story
Nayra started at home
My wife is a photographer. I've been building software for more than 15 years.
For years I watched up close all the work that happens before and after a session: coordinating dates, confirming appointments, answering clients, organising photographs and delivering galleries privately.
Nayra came out of a fairly simple question: could we make all of this easier?
We started by building the tools she needed day to day. Today we're turning that idea into Nayra, a platform built so photographers spend less time administering their business and more time photographing.

The concrete problem: delivery
Four things that break between the session and the payment. They're the ones Nayra solves today, inside the app.
The photos go out unprotected
A link to a shared folder hands clean originals to whoever has it. In Nayra every preview carries your studio's watermark, applied automatically when you upload the session.
The selection happens over messages
Lists of numbers over WhatsApp, screenshots and corrections. In Nayra your client opens their private gallery on their phone, with nothing to install, and marks their favorites right there.
Delivery happens before payment
Once the file is out, collecting the balance depends on goodwill. In Nayra the originals are released with a download code you generate when the payment is confirmed, with limited uses and an expiry date.
The calendar lives somewhere else
Sessions noted down across three different apps. In Nayra every session is logged with client, place and time, and the reminder goes out the day before.

Your work is yours
The photographs and data you upload stay yours. Nayra stores and displays them only as far as it needs to in order to provide the service: we claim no rights over your work and we don't use it to promote ourselves without your permission. It's written into our terms of service.
No sales commission
You pay your plan and nothing else. Nayra doesn't take a percentage of what you charge your client — not today and not when we turn payments on. What your work is worth is your call.
Built for how you actually get paid
Bank transfers, cash and partial payments aren't exceptions: they're the norm across much of the world. Nayra is designed around that, and not around a credit card many of your clients aren't going to use.
What's ready is announced; what's missing is labelled
We separate what already works from what's on the way, and anything tagged «Coming soon» isn't part of what you're paying for today. When it's ready it turns on in your plan, with no change in price.
Where we are
Nayra is developed and operated from Costa Rica.
We don't have an office open to the public: we work remotely and we answer by email, during business hours.
What languages we work in
Nayra is in Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese and English: the website, the app and everything your client sees. Support is answered in Spanish and Portuguese.
